Joy Lalantare is a Certified Professional Coach; she works with middle level executives in corporate organization, business leaders in small and medium enterprises (SME), social entrepreneurs and young professionals. She utilizes coaching skills (reflective inquiry) to support her clients disrupt themselves to innovate, think out of the box, figure out what their next project is, fit all pieces of a puzzle together, develop their vision and mission in sometimes tough business/working environment. Her particular specialism in helping people grow in confidence, manage change and build stronger, more productive relationships in ways that support the realities of the organization and the society at large. Her overriding principle is that the more individuals understand about themselves; the better they can understand how they work with others in their work places and social environment.

Joy believes that people are resourceful, whole and creative; they are experts in their lives and have all the answers within them. She is blessed to be able to intuitively see people’s superpower and help them see what they need and not what they want. Her one word is commitment. 

Joy’s professional experience in the corporate world as an accountant for 8 successful years working (under pressure of strict deadlines, unforeseen changes, meeting and abiding to the reporting standards of different international donors, critically analyzing financial data, accurately advising the management on strategic control measures and budgeting & managing millions in USD) and 3 years and counting as a certified business and executive coach working with overwhelmed business leaders, businesses in the verge of collapse, businesses looking to expand, downsizing and having high employee turnover, businesses losing clients has given her valuable understanding in how organization’s work, as well as the isolation and pressure leaders and individuals can sometimes face.

Joy holds a Global diploma in professional coaching from CDI Africa Coaching Group, Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton and training in transformational coaching from Destiny Life Coaching, Joy is currently pursuing Masters of Business Management in Strategic Management at Kenyatta University

I am Certified Engagement and Productivity coach with focus on improving productivity of employees especially my work colleagues. I have enjoted coaching my colleagues and contributing towards their procuctivity. I have coached coachees mainly in the insurance and investment management sectors.

Claire uses a Co-active coaching approach and believes that clients have the answers or they can find answers if they are asked the right questions. Through this approach, she addresses the Client’s whole life given that we often cannot compartmentalize the different aspects of our lives since they are all somehow interlinked. She believes that self-awareness is key for personal and professional growth and therefore helps her clients leverage on it as they work on their coaching goals.

She is currently part of a select team of Global coaches offering pro bono coaching to organizational leaders in the NGO and social entrepreneurship space under the auspices of the Ethical Coach Global initiative. Her expansive exposure to development programming and Institutional Development is an asset to her coaching. Claire is also part of the pool of coaches for Draper Richards Kaplan (US).
